Mike Forbes has earned an international reputation for excellence and is highly in demand as soloist, clinician, and Miraphone Artist. He is also an award winning composer fulfilling composition commissions, residencies, and writing workshops. Mike is currently recording his second solo CD recording, "Forbes Plays Forbes." The Isthmus Brass is Wisconsin's foremost large brass ensemble offering concerts throughout the U.S. Artfully engaging programs of varied repertoire along with fabulous audience rapport are token experiences of an Isthmus Brass concert. Currently booking their 2016-17 season, they continue to promote their recent Summit Records release, "Isthmus Brass Christmas."

The highly acclaimed Sotto Voce Quartet is America's premiere Tuba/Euphonium Quartet with an international performance schedule. Their 4th CD ("Take This Hammer: Works Composed for Sotto Voce") has met with critical acclaim. Always on a mission to educate, SVQ recently performed at the Midwest Band and Orchestra Clinic and the Texas Music Educators Association's conference last year.

"IBQ+Perc" is the hippest thing to happen to the brass quintet. This rockin' sextet focuses on popular musical styles such as jazz, funk, latin, and classic rock.
"The Wild Trio" is a Horn - Tuba - Piano trio focussed on giving dynamic, engaging concerts of works by American composers; especially those of Alec Wilder, Roger Kellaway and Jan Bach.
